Addis to have a new palace
The Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) is to build a new Palace the premises of the Addis Abeba Conference Center, Sidest Kilo, Addis Abeba.
According to ESAT’s Reporter in Addis Abeba, the regime wants to leave the historical Menelik Palace in Arat Kilo and move to a new one. The Center was also selected because it is isolated from the City center and is easy to secure. Shanty and organizations found near the Conference Center will soon be cleared in the pretext of development, our Reporter added. The government has also ordered people who were preparing to construct buildings, to stop the construction.Source ESAT.
